Ramna Kali Mandir (রমনা কালী মন্দির) in the heart of Dhaka possesses a deeply poignant history. Originally constructed over 500 years ago during the Mughal era by sanyasis of the Giri order, the historical tall spire of the temple was a landmark of old Dhaka’s skyline until its destruction during the 1971 Liberation War.
